Smart Path Learning offers friendly, supportive English classes for learners of all ages and backgrounds.
Our courses help learners build confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing for everyday life, school, work and community.
📘 Pre‑Entry – Foundation English
For learners with little or no English.
This level prepares learners for Entry 1 and ensures that even complete beginners can join our classes confidently.
Pre‑Entry includes three core elements:
- Reading – recognising letters, simple words and basic signs
- Writing – forming letters, writing names, simple words and short phrases
- Speaking & Listening – basic greetings, everyday phrases, understanding simple instructions
After completing Pre‑Entry, learners progress to Entry 1.
📗 Entry 1 – Beginner
For learners who are new to English.
Focus on:
- Everyday communication
- Simple sentences
- Basic vocabulary
- Building confidence
📙 Entry 2 – Elementary
For learners who can communicate in simple situations.
Focus on:
- Short conversations
- Reading simple texts
- Writing basic messages
- Everyday vocabulary
📕 Entry 3 – Pre‑Intermediate
For learners who can communicate in familiar situations.
Focus on:
- Longer conversations
- Practical reading tasks
- Writing short paragraphs
- Improving accuracy
📚 Level 1 – Intermediate
We have the capacity to deliver Level 1 classes. These courses run when there is sufficient demand.
Focus on:
- Workplace English
- Formal writing
- Independent communication
- Reading for meaning
🎓 Level 2 – Upper Intermediate
We also have the capacity to offer Level 2 classes. These courses are delivered when there is enough learner demand.
Focus on:
- Advanced reading
- Structured writing
- Confident communication
- Preparing for employment or further study
Assessments
All learners complete a short initial assessment so we can place them in the right level.
